Leadralia vs Scrap.io: bulk map extraction, or a live map search with outreach
Scrap.io exports businesses from Google Maps in bulk, with emails and social profiles, on a monthly plan. Leadralia searches the map live, verifies the email for free, writes the first message and charges per result.
Scrap.io is a map extraction tool. You pick a business category and a place, it pulls every matching listing from Google Maps, adds the emails and social profiles it finds on each business's website, and hands you a spreadsheet. It also ships Maps Connect, a free Chrome extension that shows those emails inside Google Maps while you browse.
Leadralia starts in the same place, the map, and goes further. You pick a type of business and an area, it returns every business there, finds and verifies the business email for free, and the built-in AI writes the first message for you to approve and send from your own mailbox. You pay per result, with no subscription.
Both agree that for local and small businesses the map is the market, not a professional database. They disagree on what happens after the list exists, and on how you pay for it.

In short. Scrap.io is the better buy when you export thousands of businesses a month, want the social profiles and the free extension, and already have a verifier and a sending tool. Leadralia is the better buy when you want an exact list with a verified email, the first message written and sent from the same screen, and a bill that only grows when a result does.

Reading the tables row by row
Starting point and area
Both begin with a category and a place. The difference is how large the place may be.
Scrap.io gates the area by plan: Basic runs city searches; Professional adds second-level divisions (roughly a county) and a 50 km radius; Agency adds first-level divisions and 100 km; Company covers whole countries, a 500 km radius and polygons up to 1,000,000 km².
Leadralia has no area tiers: any account can search any area in 195 countries, from one street to a region, and the spending limit on each search decides how far it runs.
What you get
Scrap.io's record is the richer one. It extracts up to five emails per business and classifies them (contact, sales, marketing and so on), adds social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X), marks phone numbers as fixed or mobile, can add website technologies and opening hours, and lets you filter before export on website, phone, email, rating, reviews and social presence.
Leadralia gives you the business: name, address, phone, website, rating, review count, and one verified business email from its own website. No social profiles. If Instagram handles or LinkedIn pages matter to your pitch, Scrap.io wins this row outright.
Data source and freshness
Both vendors say "live" and mean slightly different things. Scrap.io keeps an index it puts at 225,676,406 establishments in 195 countries and 4,000 categories, drawn from three map platforms, and says the data is "extracted at the moment you export, from both the map listing and the business website". Three sources is a genuine advantage for coverage.
Leadralia holds no stored list. Every search reads the map at that moment, so a workshop that opened last month is in your results and one that closed is not.
Verification
Scrap.io lets you filter on "email present" before export, so credits only go to businesses that show an address, but it does not check whether that inbox is alive. Its own guidance: "Source with Scrap.io, verify with whatever tool you like, then send." A 10,000-row export therefore passes through a second subscription before anyone writes to it.
Leadralia finds and verifies the email for €0.00 while the search runs. If no working address exists, the field stays empty. If a send fails anyway, the €0.05 comes back and the dead address is remembered, so you never pay for it twice.
Pricing model and entry price
Scrap.io sells plans with export credits, shown in euro on its pricing page when we checked. Basic is €49 a month, or €35 a month billed yearly, for 10,000 credits. Professional is €99 or €69 for 20,000, Agency €199 or €139 for 40,000, Company €499 or €350 for 100,000. Atlas, for enterprises, starts at €5,000 a month under contract with custom credits, team management, an SLA and SSO. One credit is one exported place, counted once in a 30-day window; credits do not carry over, and there is no pay-per-lead option.
Leadralia is pay-as-you-go by default: a wallet from €5, €0.02 per business found, €0.00 for its verified email, €0.05 per email sent through Leadralia (refunded automatically if the send fails), €0.02 to reveal an address for use elsewhere, and €0.00 for a business you already have, forever. The balance never expires, and every search carries a spending limit you set. Optional plans start at €19 a month, with every feature in every tier.
Now the honest arithmetic. On Scrap.io's yearly Basic plan a business costs €0.0035, about one sixth of Leadralia's €0.02. If you really export more than about 1,750 businesses every month, Scrap.io is the cheaper list. Below that, or in a month where you export nothing, Leadralia costs less, and the price already includes the verified email and the sending.
Note. Count what you actually use. A 10,000-credit plan is the cheapest list here if you spend the credits, and the most expensive if 9,000 of them expire. On Leadralia, 1,000 businesses (€20), all 1,000 emails found and verified (€0) and the best 500 emailed (€25) come to €45, with nothing else to buy.
Free tier
Scrap.io offers a 7-day trial with 50 searches and 100 export credits and all features unlocked; its pages state that a card is required to activate it. Leadralia's free tier is 25 businesses and 25 email sends a month, without a card and without an end date.
Outreach
Scrap.io stops at the export. There is no campaign tool, no mailbox connection, no inbox: you download CSV or Excel, or pull through the API, and send from whatever you already use. Maps Connect lets you click an email on a listing and open your mail client, one business at a time.
Leadralia keeps the next step on the same screen. You describe your offer in a sentence, the AI writes a personal message per business, and you read, edit and approve every word, with the exact audience and cost on screen before anything goes out. Messages leave from your own mailbox (Gmail or Outlook by OAuth, any SMTP mailbox, your own domain, or a ready sending address Leadralia sets up for you), every one ends with a one-line source sentence and a simple way to say no, and replies land in an inbox inside Leadralia. There are no multi-step sequences.
API, extension and file enrichment
Scrap.io includes its REST API on all four plans at 120 requests a minute; calls that return data consume export credits. An MCP server lets an AI assistant drive Scrap.io directly. File enrichment matches your own list of domains, emails or phone numbers to map listings, and reverse search works the other way. Maps Connect is free and unlimited for what you can see on screen, with no bulk export, no filters and no CSV.
Leadralia has a REST API with keys, scopes and published reference docs, covering searches, leads, enrichment, campaigns and the account. It has no browser extension, no file enrichment and no Zapier or CRM integration. On those two rows, Scrap.io wins.
Compliance
Scrap.io states that it is GDPR and CCPA compliant, extracts only publicly available business data, and keeps every data point traceable to its source. After the export, opt-outs and removal requests are your job. One of its email classes is "individual": an address with a person's name in it is personal data under GDPR, with the obligations that follow.
Leadralia uses public business data only: the business's public listing and its own website. Every message ends with a source sentence and "send no" to the address at the bottom; whatever reaches that address is processed automatically for every sender on Leadralia. A business can remove itself instantly through a self-serve portal. Leadralia works under GDPR.
When to choose which
Choose Scrap.io when:
- You export thousands of listings a month and spend the credits, so the per-record price beats €0.02.
- You want social profiles, several emails per business and phone type in the export.
- You already own a verifier and a sending tool, and the data should flow into them by CSV, API or MCP.
- You want the free Chrome extension, or need to enrich a list you already have.
Choose Leadralia when:
- You want a complete list for one exact area, a city, a district or a single street.
- A verified email matters more than five unverified ones.
- You want the first message written, approved and sent from the same screen, with replies in one inbox.
- You would rather pay €0.02 per result than a monthly allowance that may expire unused.
- You would rather not run the tool at all: a "We do it for you" package finds the businesses and the emails, writes the first email in your name for your approval and sends it, from 100 businesses for €15.
Frequently asked questions
What is the alternative to Scrap.io?
For the same bulk extraction at a different price, other map scrapers compete on credits and area. For the step after the extraction, a verified email and the outreach without exporting to another tool, Leadralia is the alternative: the same map as a starting point, verification included, the first message written by AI for your approval, and pay per result instead of per month.
How do I get the emails of businesses in my city?
With Scrap.io you search the category and the city, filter on "email present", export, run the file through a verifier and load it into a sending tool. With Leadralia you type the type of business and the city, every business comes back with its verified email, and you write to them from the same screen. Both read the email from the business's own website, so neither invents an address a business never published.
Is Leadralia cheaper than Scrap.io?
Per record, no: Scrap.io's yearly Basic plan works out at €0.0035 per exported business against Leadralia's €0.02. Per month, often yes: there is no monthly floor, verification is free and sending is €0.05 per email, so 1,000 businesses with 500 emails sent cost €45 all in. The break-even is roughly 1,750 businesses a month, every month, before you add a verifier and a sending tool on the Scrap.io side.
Bottom line
Scrap.io is a strong extraction tool: three map platforms, rich records with social profiles and several emails per business, an API and an MCP server on every plan, and a useful free Chrome extension. If your job is to feed a large stack with map data every month, it is good value and it does several things Leadralia does not.
Leadralia is the shorter path from a map to a conversation. It finds every business of a type in an exact area, finds and verifies the business email for free, writes the first message for you to approve, sends it from your own mailbox and collects the replies, for €0.02 per business and no subscription.
If your question is "which businesses in my city should I write to, and how do I reach them", run one search for free. The first 25 businesses need no card, and the docs explain the rest.
