Leadralia

Leadralia vs PhantomBuster: an automation toolbox, or a finished find and email flow

PhantomBuster sells ready-made scrapers and LinkedIn automations that run on monthly execution time. Leadralia finds every business in an area, verifies the email for free and sends your message, paid per result.

PhantomBuster is a toolbox. It gives you ready-made automations called Phantoms, one task each, and Workflows that chain several of them: export a LinkedIn search, visit profiles, send connection requests, pull a Google Maps search into a file, push the result into HubSpot. Everything runs on PhantomBuster's servers against a monthly allowance of execution time, slots and credits, sold as a subscription with a 14-day trial.

Leadralia is a finished flow. You name a type of business and an area, it returns every business there, finds and verifies the business email for free, the built-in AI writes the first message for you to approve, and the message leaves from your own mailbox. You pay per result, with no subscription.

Both can start from Google Maps, and that is roughly where the overlap ends. PhantomBuster is for growth people who like to assemble steps, keep their social accounts within safe limits and route data between tools. Leadralia is for people who sell to businesses and want the list, the verified address and the sent email to be one job.

In short. PhantomBuster is the better buy when you prospect on LinkedIn, want data from many platforms, and are happy to chain steps, manage sessions and sync the output into a CRM. Leadralia is the better buy when the job is "every business of this kind in this area, with a verified email, and my message in their inbox", paid per result rather than per month of machine time.

Reading the tables row by row

Every business in an area

PhantomBuster's Google Maps Search Export takes a Google Maps search URL and returns what that search shows. Its own guide says each search returns up to 120 to 200 results and tells you to split a city into smaller areas and run the Phantom again for each. It also recommends a proxy near the target area, because results shift with the server's region.

Leadralia starts from the area, not from a search URL. You pick the type of business and the area, down to one street, and it sweeps the whole of it and returns every matching business, in any of 195 countries. The splitting, the proxy and the re-runs are its problem, not yours.

Business email, found and verified

The Google Maps Search Export does not return email addresses at all; the guide says so plainly. To get them you run the Google Maps Search to Contact Data Workflow, which visits each business website and copies whatever emails, phone numbers and social links it finds there. It uses two slots, PhantomBuster estimates 5 to 10 minutes for 10 to 20 businesses, and there is no verification step.

PhantomBuster's verified email discovery is a different feature: it takes a person's full name and company domain, runs them through a waterfall of providers, and spends your monthly email credits (500 on Start). That works for a LinkedIn profile; it has nothing to bite on for a bakery with no named contact.

Leadralia finds the email on the business's own website while the search runs, verifies it before you can use it, and charges €0.00 for both. If no working address exists, the field stays empty instead of being filled with a guess.

Named people and LinkedIn

This is PhantomBuster's home ground, and Leadralia does not play on it. PhantomBuster exports LinkedIn and Sales Navigator searches, scrapes profiles, collects post likers, event guests and group members, sends connection requests and messages, and enriches contacts with job titles and verified work emails. If you sell to a job title at a company, that is what you need.

Leadralia has no LinkedIn data, no named people and no job titles. It finds businesses and the address a business publishes for itself, which keeps the data public and the compliance simple, and is useless if you need the head of procurement by name.

Email outreach

PhantomBuster's outreach runs on LinkedIn: connection requests with a note, follow-up messages a few days later, comments on posts. For email it hands the list to another tool, for example through its LinkedIn Profiles to lemlist Campaign Phantom or a CRM sync, so the sending part means another subscription.

Leadralia sends the email itself. You describe your offer in a sentence, the AI writes a personal message per business, and you read, edit and approve every word, with the exact audience and cost on screen first. Messages leave from your own mailbox (Gmail, Outlook, any SMTP mailbox, your own domain, or a ready sending address Leadralia sets up for you), each one ends with a source sentence and a plain "send no" line, and replies land in an inbox inside Leadralia. There are no multi-step sequences with conditions.

Pricing model and entry price

PhantomBuster sells machine time. Start is $69 a month ($56 billed yearly) for 20 hours of execution time, 5 Phantom slots, 10,000 AI credits and 500 email credits. Grow is $159 ($128 yearly) for 80 hours, 15 slots and 2,500 email credits; Scale is $439 ($352 yearly) for 300 hours, 50 slots and 10,000 email credits. Every plan includes the API, unlimited exports and up to 100 workspace members; unused time and credits reset each cycle. European customers are billed in euro, but the euro prices appear only at checkout, so we quote the dollar figures.

What does an hour buy? PhantomBuster estimates 7 to 8 minutes per 100 results for the Google Maps Search Export, so the 20 hours on Start would be roughly 15,000 to 17,000 Maps rows a month if every minute went to that one Phantom, with no emails. Add the website step for contact data and the vendor's own estimate puts the same 20 hours at about 1,200 to 2,400 businesses.

Leadralia charges per result: €0.02 for a business found with phone, website, rating and reviews, €0.00 for the verified email, €0.05 to send an email through Leadralia (refunded automatically if the send fails), and €0.02 to reveal an address for use elsewhere. A business you already have is €0.00 in any later search, forever. The wallet starts at €5, never expires, and every search has a spending limit you set. Those 1,200 to 2,400 businesses, each with a verified email, would cost €24 to €48, with no monthly floor. Optional plans start at €19 a month.

Note. The two models punish different habits. PhantomBuster is cheap per row if you keep its hours busy every month and are fine with raw exports; a quiet month costs the same as a busy one. Leadralia costs nothing in a quiet month and prices the thing you actually wanted, a reachable business, rather than the time a machine spent looking for it.

Free tier

PhantomBuster's 14-day trial needs no card and opens every feature, with 2 hours of execution time, 5 slots, 1,000 AI credits and 50 email credits. The catch is the export: result files are capped at 10 rows on the trial and on the Free plan that follows (30 minutes of execution time a month, 1 slot), so you can see that an automation works but cannot take a list away without paying.

Leadralia's free tier is 25 businesses and 25 email sends a month, no card, and the results are fully yours.

API, integrations and workflows

PhantomBuster was built to sit between tools. The API is included on every plan, webhooks fire when a run finishes, HubSpot has a two-way sync, Salesforce and Pipedrive get one-way enrichers, Clay is connected directly, and Zapier, Make and n8n reach everything else. Phantoms can be scheduled, launched after another Phantom finishes, and chained into Workflows.

Leadralia has a REST API with keys and published docs, so searches, leads, enrichment and campaigns are reachable from your own code. It has no Zapier, Make, HubSpot or other CRM integration and no scheduler. Leads carry a status, a note and a follow-up date, you can see them on a map, and you export to Excel or CSV. If lead data must flow into your systems without code, PhantomBuster wins this row.

Setup, sessions and account safety

PhantomBuster asks something of you. LinkedIn and social Phantoms run on your own logged-in session, connected through a browser extension; the platform is desktop only, English only, and signs in with email and password only. Its safety guide is candid: LinkedIn evaluates activity per account, limits are behavioural rather than fixed, and "LinkedIn automation can be done safely, but it's never risk-free." Its FAQ adds that staying within each platform's terms is your responsibility. That is normal for the category, and it is work.

Leadralia has nothing to install, no cookies to paste and no account of yours to protect. The interface comes in nine languages, and you sign up with email or Google.

Compliance

PhantomBuster publishes a data processing agreement and describes itself as the processor for the lead data you collect, with you as the controller who determines the purpose and the legal basis. Its GDPR page asks you to mind where your prospects are and follow the prospecting rules that apply to you.

Leadralia's position is narrower by design: public business data only, from the business's own listing and website, no bought databases and no personal profiles. Every message ends with a source sentence and a plain "send no" line (mail to Belgium also carries an unsubscribe link), the opt-out is processed automatically for every sender, and a business can remove itself instantly through a self-serve portal. Leadralia works under GDPR.

Frequently asked questions

Can PhantomBuster give me every business in a city?

It can give you what a Google Maps search shows, up to 120 to 200 results per search URL by its own guide, and you split the city into smaller searches to go further. Leadralia sweeps the whole area in one search and returns every matching business, with the email already found and verified.

Is Leadralia cheaper than PhantomBuster?

For raw Google Maps rows at full use, PhantomBuster's Start plan can be cheaper per row, with no emails attached. Once you want contact data, the vendor's own timing brings 20 hours down to about 1,200 to 2,400 businesses a month, which on Leadralia costs €24 to €48 with verified emails included and nothing to pay in a quiet month. Sending is where Leadralia charges, €0.05 per email; PhantomBuster does not send email at all.

Can I use both?

Yes, and some teams should. PhantomBuster works LinkedIn and social platforms, with sequences and CRM sync around it. Leadralia covers the long tail of local businesses with no professional profile and gets the first email out. They overlap on one Phantom and nowhere else.

Bottom line

Choose PhantomBuster when your prospects are people on LinkedIn, when you want data from several platforms in one place, when a CRM and a sending tool need feeding on a schedule, and when configuring Phantoms, proxies and sessions is work you are glad to do. It is a capable, honest toolbox that does a great deal Leadralia does not do at all.

Choose Leadralia when the list is the missing piece (every dental clinic in Milan), when you want the email found and verified for free rather than scraped and hoped for, when the first message should be written, approved and sent from the same screen, and when you do not want to pay for machine time in a quiet month. If you would rather not run it at all, the "We do it for you" packages start at €15 for 100 businesses.

If your question is "which businesses should I be contacting, and how do I reach them this week", run one search for free. No card is needed, and the docs cover the API if you want to wire it into your own code.
