Leadralia

Leadralia vs Outscraper: raw map data at scale, or a finished find and email workflow

Outscraper sells raw Google Maps, review and contact data per record through a web app and an API. Leadralia turns one map search into verified business emails and an approved, sent message. Which to buy, and when.

Outscraper is a data extraction service. You give it a search ("dentists, Lyon"), a list of places or a list of domains, and it returns rows: Google Maps places with up to 45 fields, reviews, emails and phones crawled from websites. You pay per record after a free monthly allowance, through a web app or an API with SDKs in six languages. Developers and data teams like it because it is cheap, scriptable and plugs into whatever they already run.

Leadralia starts in the same place, a type of business and an area on the map, and ends somewhere else. It returns every matching business, finds and verifies the business email for free, lets the built-in AI write the first message for you to approve, sends it from your mailbox and collects the replies. You pay per result, with no subscription.

So this is not a fight between two scrapers. It is a choice between raw material and a finished product, and the honest answer depends on whether you have a pipeline to pour the raw material into.

In short. Outscraper is the better buy when you need raw records by the hundred thousand and have a pipeline to put them to work. Leadralia is the better buy when you sell to businesses and want the list, the verified email, the message and the replies in one place, paid per result, without building anything.

Reading the tables row by row

Starting point and what you get

Both begin with the same question: which businesses of this kind exist here. Outscraper takes a Google Maps style query ("plumbers, Rotterdam"), a category plus a location, coordinates, place IDs or zip codes, and runs the extraction as a task. Leadralia takes a type of business and an area, anywhere in 195 countries, and sweeps it.

Outscraper's Google Maps Scraper returns up to 45 fields per place: name, address, coordinates, phone, website, categories, opening hours, rating, review count, popular times and more. Review texts come from the Reviews Scraper at $3 per 1,000. Emails and social profiles come from the Emails & Contacts Scraper, which crawls each website and returns up to five addresses per domain, one of 17 enrichment services.

Leadralia returns fewer columns and a finished one: name, address, phone, website, rating, review count, and the business email found on the business's own website and verified. Review texts and popular times are not part of the product. If your work is analysing what customers say about a category, Outscraper is simply the right tool.

Data source

Both work from public map data and public websites, not from a database someone built last year, so a shop that opened last month appears in both. Outscraper runs the extraction when you submit the task and also pulls from Google Search, Trustpilot, Google Play and other sources. Leadralia reads the map at the moment of the search and then each business's own website, nothing else.

Note. Freshness is a tie. The difference is scope. Outscraper is a general extraction platform with Google Maps as its best-known product. Leadralia is one workflow, built around businesses on a map, and does not try to scrape anything else.

Email and verification

This is where the bills diverge. On Outscraper, the Google Maps record is one service, the email crawl a second ($3 per 1,000) and verification a third ($3 per 1,000 after a 25-address free allowance). Phone validation is a fourth at $5 per 1,000. Each has its own meter, and you assemble them yourself.

On Leadralia, finding and verifying the email costs €0.00 and happens while the search runs. An address is in your list only if it was found on that business's website and passed verification; nothing is guessed from a name pattern, and an empty field stays empty. Hard bounces are remembered so the same dead address is never paid for twice.

Pricing model and entry price

Outscraper is cheap per record, and we should say so plainly. After the first 500 free records each month, Google Maps places cost $3 per 1,000 up to 100,000 and $1 per 1,000 beyond that; reviews and emails follow the same ladder. You can prepay credits that never expire, or keep a card on file and be invoiced only for usage above the free tier. For a data team pulling a million places a year, no finished product will match that unit price.

Leadralia charges €0.02 per business found, roughly seven times Outscraper's medium-tier record price. The comparison is only fair if you count what the €0.02 includes: the verified email at €0.00, duplicates at €0.00 forever, a spending limit on every search so the bill can never pass your number, and sending at €0.05 per email, refunded automatically if the send fails. Revealing an address for use elsewhere is €0.02. The wallet starts at €5 and never expires; optional plans from €19 a month lower the unit price for weekly users.

Worked example: 1,000 businesses on Leadralia cost €20 with all their verified emails, and emailing the best 500 adds €25, so €45 for a live list and 500 personal messages in inboxes. On Outscraper, 1,000 places, 1,000 email crawls and 1,000 verifications cost about $9 at the medium tier, and then you still need a sending tool, a mailbox, a template and an opt-out process.

Free tier

Outscraper's free tier is more generous in volume: 500 Google Maps records, 500 reviews, 500 contacts and 25 Google Search queries a month, renewed every 30 days, no card. Leadralia's is 25 businesses and 25 email sends a month, also without a card. If you only want to see what a scraper returns for your city, Outscraper shows you more rows. If you want to see whether anyone replies, only Leadralia's allowance gets a message sent.

Outreach, replies and opt-outs

Outscraper does not send email. Its own guides describe exporting the list into a sending tool, warming up a mailbox and tracking replies elsewhere. That is a sensible division of labour for a developer and a chore for a salesperson.

Leadralia keeps the chain in one screen. You describe your offer in a sentence, the AI writes a personal message per business, you read, edit and approve every word, and the exact audience and cost are shown before anything leaves. Messages go out from your own Gmail or Outlook, any SMTP mailbox, your own domain, or a ready sending address Leadralia sets up in a minute. Every message ends with a source sentence and a "send no" line, a "no" is processed automatically for every sender, and replies land in an inbox inside the product and in your own mailbox. If you would rather not run it at all, a "We do it for you" package does the search, the emails, the draft and the send: 100 businesses for €15, 500 for €49, 1,200 for €100.

API and integrations

Outscraper was built API first. Requests carry an X-API-KEY header, long tasks run asynchronously and call a webhook when they finish, a request can batch up to 25 queries, and official SDKs exist for Python, Ruby, PHP, Node, Go and Java. Ready-made connectors cover Zapier, Make, n8n, Google Sheets, HubSpot and several other CRMs. If you want businesses flowing into a CRM every morning without a human in the loop, Outscraper does that today and does it well.

Leadralia has a REST API too: keys with scopes, and searches, leads, enrichment, campaigns and the account all reachable, with published reference docs. What it lacks is the connector layer: no Zapier, no Make, no HubSpot or Salesforce sync, no browser extension. Inside the product there is a thin CRM instead: a status, a note and a follow-up date per lead, a map view, and export to Excel or CSV.

Compliance

Outscraper's GDPR page describes it as the processor and you as the controller: if what you extract contains personal data, the lawful basis, data minimisation and data subject requests are yours. Its guides advise avoiding personal data. That is correct, and it is also the point: the compliance work is yours.

Leadralia uses public business data only, the business's public listing and its own website, with no bought databases and no named people. Every message carries the source line and the opt-out line (mail to Belgium also carries an unsubscribe link), a business can remove itself instantly through a self-serve portal, and Leadralia never sells data. It works under GDPR, with the machinery inside the product rather than in a document you write.

When to choose which

Choose Outscraper when:

  • You need hundreds of thousands of records and the unit price is the deciding number.
  • You have a developer, a data team or a no-code stack (Zapier, Make, n8n) to receive the data.
  • You want review texts, popular times, Google Search results or other sources, not only the listing.
  • Your sending, CRM and opt-out process already exist and only need fuel.

Choose Leadralia when:

  • You sell to businesses and the goal is replies, not rows.
  • You want the email found and verified without a second and third service to wire up.
  • You want to write, approve and send the first message where you built the list, with the cost on screen first.
  • You have no pipeline and no wish to build one, or would rather hand the job over with a "We do it for you" package.

Frequently asked questions

Is Outscraper cheaper than Leadralia?

Per raw record, yes, by a wide margin: $3 per 1,000 places against €0.02 each, and the gap grows above 100,000 records when Outscraper drops to $1 per 1,000. Per finished outcome the picture changes: Leadralia's €0.02 includes the verified email, and its €0.05 per send includes the AI draft, the mailbox connection, the opt-out handling and the inbox. If you were going to buy or build those anyway, Outscraper plus your stack is cheaper. If not, Leadralia is the cheaper way to get a message sent.

Can I use Outscraper data inside Leadralia, or the other way round?

Not directly. Every Leadralia lead comes from a Leadralia search, which is what keeps the email verified and the opt-out handling consistent for every sender. In the other direction, Leadralia's REST API lets you pull searches, leads and campaign data into your own systems.

Which one handles GDPR for me?

Neither can take the responsibility off you, but they leave you in different positions. Outscraper is a processor and leaves the lawful basis, the content, the opt-out and the removals to you. Leadralia limits itself to public business data, adds the source and opt-out lines to every message, processes "no" automatically and offers instant self-serve removal. You still own what you write and whom you write to.

Bottom line

Outscraper is a serious extraction platform at a very low unit price: Google Maps places, reviews, contacts and more, through a web app, an API with six SDKs and a shelf of connectors. If you build pipelines, it is a strong buy, and it does several things Leadralia does not do.

Leadralia is the finished workflow for people who sell to businesses: every business of a type in an area, live from the map, the email found and verified for free, the first message written by the AI and approved by you, sent from your mailbox, with the replies coming back to you. You pay per result, with the price on screen first.

If your bottleneck is rows, start with Outscraper's free allowance. If your bottleneck is replies, run one search for free: no card, and you see the list before you spend anything.
